So grateful for your sharing 💓. What you spoke about has been my life story..a blended form of opposites.
What a relief to hear your narrative..the way you shared your knowledge. Thank you.
I got a tremendous boost from this lesson plan. The myriad insights and practical techniques were extraordinary. I so appreciate the opportunity to participate in this whole seminar. Linda Thai exudes something that is a balm, and compassionate. Thank you so much.
Love this gentle presentation to deepen understanding on a deep level the different responses to trauma.
I felt an increasing sense of relief, watching Linda’s guide to understanding survival responses and mapping the path to regulation. Purely from a selfish viewpoint as my own path to recovery has been without a map and here she gives positive examples of using somatic approaches in therapy and suggests areas to further investigate to discover more. I certainly identified with topics covered and recognised in my own development/learning. Specifically recognising the completion of the flight response/tremor when there is an acute stress response. My realisation has certainly expanded. Well done. I am so very grateful.
Lovely presentation Known still so useful your kind way of putting information clear and accesible
thank you
I am mesmerized by Linda Thai, her knowledge, her presentation, her ability to explain things in a way that calms my nervous system. She reminds us to be compassionate and kind with ourself and others. I really appreciated that she took the time to demonstrate how to move our bodies, make vocal sounds and breathe during a session.
Grateful for this presentation, especially the somatic exercises.
Thank you for all that you do!!
Your energy and delivery of challenging self knowledge was Inspiring. I have been the possum and polar bear. Happily moving and breathing more fully now.
I continue to shed, shred and share in my healing. In Metta .
Thanks again, see you around 🙂
A superb presentation. You answered questions I’ve held for a long time. Surprisingly, didn’t think of any as connected to each other or sharing similar purposes, but now I see it clearly. Thank you.
Thank you for a wonderful hour of knowledge.
I would appreciate an opportunity to share my experience with capital T traumas and how design and creative processes have kept me alive.
The theory is based on energy transformation and transforming the intangible to tangible.
Thank you again for sharing knowledge 🙏🏻
This was great! I really enjoyed Linda’s easy presentation style and her gentle manner. There were so many moments of absolute gold in this presentation, thank you.
Linda, you are a gifted communicator and teacher. Your insights are invaluable. The energy you bring into your presentation speaks volumes about your work, your passion, and your knowledge. Thankyou
I will see you around.
So beautiful not first time I ve engaged with Linda a session, really taken more in, love the pauses ans somatic break and neuroscience link, my aim in life is to enable own capacity to be my own ‘NS holistic whisperer’ and share this with others … fab session 🤔👌🙏
Non negotiable self care to we care resourced ❤️
This was an outstanding session, not only concerning the content, discriminating the different states of n s arousal, their developmental origins and effects including socio-cultural causes ( named clearly and fearlessly), but also the way you included and worked with your audience in between, using body, energy, mind and humour in a caring and empathetic way, an enlightening experience. Thank you so much for the gift of this teaching, you are a gift as a researcher and teacher!
Brilliant,clear, and beautiful presention.
I wanted to say a big thank you for a deeply authentic, honouring educational experience. I have studied the nervous system professionally and your insights took my knowledge to a deeper level. Grateful for you!
Extremely grateful to have been able to watch this and learn so much – all explained so clearly, so compassionately and gently. A real joy. Thank you.
Loved this presentation. So effectively delivered and easily digested.
Once again, a truly exceptional presentation. Words can’t fully express my tremendous gratitude for your framework, examples, compassion, plus practices to make the shift in real time. Deepest thanks for sharing the science and your artistry. You are inspiring and offering much needed hope.
That was bloody fantastic! Thank you Thai. It was cerebral, physical and emotional and really helped me process some of the theory with examples of practice. The somatic practice bit has always been the mystery for me and this talk helped join the dots between theory and practice. All of the talks so far have really complemented one another.
Absolutely brilliant. Such a wonderful presenter. Thank you for sharing your peace and your knowledge.
i have been doing body=focused psychotherapy since the 1980″s. i was trained by Dr. Jack Rosenberg
and others. Jack was certainly one of the first psychologists to bring the body and breath and energy work into the therapy room. he called it Integrative Body Psychotherapy (IBP). i worked with many survivors of childhood sexual abuse. talk therapy did not work for them but our work did. We did not have the knowledge of the brain’s plasticity nor this understanding of the nervous system back then. i am retired now. Really enjoyed your presentation and your energy. thank you so much!
Wow what a comprehensive breakdown of the nervous system. I love Linda’s energy and how she intersperses body movement with the theory.
linda eres maravillosamente inteligente y genuina, que maravilla escucharte y aprender contigo, saludos desde chile !!! Alisson Araya H
I enjoyed this, Linda ,very much and through my own biography and practice – I have already intuitively brought in befriending the nervous system , into my work. I now have a name for it. It just feels right. I loved the stretches and simply just noticing our bodies. During the presentation.TY.
Thank you so much Linda for your generosity and compassion as well as this enlightening understanding.
On point! Visuals are so aptly chosen to demonstrate concepts. Life can be pretty brutal, but we have to be able to name and describe natural defences to depathologise them and to start changing the real causes of mental injury, at individual and social levels. The nervous system whisperer at work! Thank you Linda Thai and The Awake Network
Linda Thai really knows her stuff.
Loved your energy. Thank you Linda
I will keep the exercices..
This was amazing
I loved how easily she explained the ANS. She communicates very respectfully and very lovingly.
I learned a lot. Thanks
I loved how you turned co-dependency into a super power, making the distinction as a protective strategy from prior trauma was like a light went on…among a number of other insights you provided. I love you enthusiastic and gentle, bright approach, interspersed with somatic touchstones. Really lovely overall, and deeply helpful. Thank you!
Wow! Thank you Linda for packing so much into your presentation. Highlights for me were your: somatic activities woven throughout, explanation of blended states, the language of “state creates story” and. most of all your holistic approach to conceptualising traumatic stress. Also your joyful presence. Deep gratitude.
this presentation is the most powerful, helpful discussion I’ve encountered that explains so clearly
what I regularly experience and couldn’t make sense of.
This video made me feel heard, understood, validated, seen. I loved the part about feeling lifeless but having to act as though you aren’t. This is different from freeze. I haven’t heard anyone else speak about this. I would love to understand this more because this is my experience.
I love listening to the positive energy that Linda bringing to these sessions. I have found that she can hit the nails on the head – that have not been able to before – but I was close…she brought it all together. Thank you Linda Thai. From me the client not me the therapist
